This short film: “Nom Téw” (Man of the Soil) has won four awards (Best short film/Jackson Hole Wildlife/United Nations Forest Film Festival 2010 (IFFF), Best editor/Sila Fest Int. Film Festival2009, Special Motion for Cinematography/Bridgetown Int. Film Festival 2009 and Coup de Coeur/Terra Festival 2011) and has been selected at 18 international film festivals including the International Berlinale Film Festival Culinary section. The film was entirely shot with Canon 5D MARK II and Canon Lenses by a film crew of three: Jerry Makawest (main character), Jym Renaut (director assistant and co-producer) and myself.
